Hey Glee Club…

As promised I’m continuing my blogs with the special love theme, all for the name of Valentines Day!

This time it’s the Mercedes and Kurt ship, as asked by one of our readers ‘Jay-mee’ and ‘Yasmine-Grace Berry’. (Remember leave me a comment, with any suggestions of future blogs, stuff you want to hear about or just because you need to let something out, and it may appear in the near future)…how cool is that!

Mercedes and Kurt, they’re both pretty similar. Divas by birth, out spoken with an insecurity that really stops them from shining like they both want.

Aside from the total similarity in their taste for guys…and the fact that Kurt isn’t well…straight, they would probably have made the most enjoyable couple to watch.

Question:
If Kurt and Mercedes had a Diva off…who would win???

When I watched Episode 3 (Acafellas) I found the Kurt and Mercedes love team really entertaining, but that was because I already knew he was gay…as the show went on I felt really sorry for Kurt and not so much Mercedes, who fair enough had her heart broken…but poor Kurt really didn’t mean to hurt her. He seemed almost the helpless little boy who can’t help but break a heart…have you ever been in that situation?

It reminds me of a story…yes I have lots of them. A little personal to me, so lets be nice. I went to a media course in the summer, and lets face it up until my boyfriend I hadn’t been that great with guys…something to do with me being just amazingly cool and the boys (who I gave nick names to…Grinch, Voldemort, Tom the tosspot to name a few) happened to jerks with seriously no hearts. So I met this amazing guy, the most good looking guy I’d ever seen, even better looking than the guys on the Calvin Klein billboards… and we hit off straight away, I spent everyday bonding with him, having a laugh…the when I got home, chatting to him, it was a crazy school girl crush, and well…on the final day, this other girl (betty the bitch) took him away and I was totally annoyed, so I plucked up the courage to ask him if he liked her on the way to my car. This was in front of other people mind…in my head I said “I don’t care what he says to me, as long as he doesn’t say he likes her!”…so as my wish came true he laughed and said “no way”…at this point if you’ve said “pheww…” then you’re doing exactly what I did…if you continued and said “this is gonna be a happily ever after” like I did, then I’m afraid you’ll be hugely disappointed…as I was…stay with me here…
So he leaned forwards, the sun hit his face so he had a glow around his face like some sort of sweet romantic story, I was feeling pretty great, he leaned closer…(do you see where this is going?) I leaned closer, I thought he was going to kiss me…he whispered in my ear…
“I’m gay!”
“I’m sorry what?”
“I’m gay…”
“YOU’RE GAY???”
At that point everyone looked at me…and I didn’t know what to do but hug him…he looked embarrassed as did everyone else. We all said our goodbyes and…I went home not really remembering why I was straight…or a girl for that matter…incidentally he is now a very good friend of mine…sometimes its strange to talk about boyfriends…but he is someone I care a lot about…

So Mercedes, I got your back girl! Haa.
I do in a way feel sorry for her, because lets face it, if you’re crushing on someone who likes the same sex as you, well…you have about as much chance with them as you do with Santa Clause…

If you have any stories where you’ve fallen for someone even though it’s a hopeless cause…and I know some of you have, post it here! Its valentines day soon after all, and what’s Valentines Day without a little bit of angst and heart breaks!

I don’t know…do you guys think Mercedes has a right to be upset…or serves her right? Get your opinions in! (Or else it’ll be like I’m talking to myself haa.)

I’m curious as to how their going to pair off these two…will they get new characters…would that make the show a little full…I think it’d be nice to see Mercedes with a football player…someone who could handle all her woman. As for Kurt…it’d be cool to see his feelings for Finn continue…maybe Finn will leave Quinn and Rachel and be Gay too…how’d you feel about that?
