It’s official! a Britney Spears episode has been set in stone. The episode will feature Glee versions of Ms. Spears’s most famous hits. Due to the obvious name connection, “the Britney episode” will focus on Glee’s Brittany (love her!) and she will make her solo debut!

According to Ryan Murphy, Glee’s creator, the concept will follow “the Power of Madonna” and “Theatricality”, episodes that both focused on the music of successful singing sensations.

The talented singer has previously shown interest in the show by tweeting, “I love Glee, the cast is so talented.” However, at this early stage, it is unknown as to whether or not the Princess of Pop herself will make an appearance.
