At last you get your Lea Michele Fashion Fix from the People’s Choice Awards. Lea was wearing a white, hand draped bugle bead dress by Marchesa, together with Jimmy Choo “Senora” glitter sandals. I loved this dress, on the contraire to her Golden Globes option, this is amazing, fun and flirtatious. She is only young once, therefore I think that she needs to go and wear fun dresses, such as this one, and worry about being gracious and elegant later, all though I do not give her permission to wear that silver Marchesa piece again. Anyways, this seems to be a little ‘ice skating competition-ish’ but it has so much texture and gives the dress a shape, therefore, I approve. The crisp white only goes along with some people, Lea is one of them. Her skin is tanned and her hair dark in order to make it a contrast but not wash her out. I love the stringy-ness of it and the draped strings around her upper arms. It’s not in any way revealing, yet plays with a plunging back drape and a lovely neck line. It could have been either a little longer, or a little shorter, but other than that it was a fabulous option. Her hair is side parted and draped over her left shoulder and her shoes match the whole look by being a) silver and b) sparkly. My favorite thing about this look, however, is the bright bold pink lip. AH-MAZING. MAJOR. Be bold, be beautiful, right ladies? I mean it can’t be any prettier than that. And with a dress like this, it’s only fitting to go bold or go home, sorry for the kind of sports metaphor but it had to be said. I also really like the simplicity in her jewelry, the dangling earrings make a statement on their own that it doesn’t need anything else. Perfect choice.
