I apologize for being so late with my fashion reviews, but alas I have one. Lea Michele is known for red carpet glamour, and also known for wearing Marchesa. Well, this year she wore Marchesa, but the Fashion Police nominated her as worst dressed. Let’s find out what happened.

First, she is wearing an antique embroidered illusion dress  with a pair of Jimmy Choo Heels. The dress reminds me a little of ice skating competition, and not necessarily in a good way. It is too revealing, even though the main things are covered, it still shows way too much skin for it to be glamorous. The skirt is beautiful, covered in a sea of silver sequins and leaving a train. But the patches of sequins on her front and back, not so chic. All though the Golden Globes are known for more risque evening wear, and the actors and actresses tend to take way more risks than at the Oscar’s, that does not mean that one can throw all their personal style and taste out the window and go all out. Don’t get me wrong, Lea’s style is fabulous and I love Marchesa too, but I have to agree with Joan Rivers, she doesn’t look that brilliant. However, silver is an amazing color for her, so she should definitely try a fully beaded dress in silver, like Evan Rachel Woods Zac Posen at the Emmy’s. The hair is amazing though, the intricate up-do giving it texture and class. The make-up is also fantastic, the dark eyeshadow but light lip is amazing. As is the jewelry, earrings and ring.
