I think it just go's to show how many people in Ministerial positions in this country are out of touch with what our children deal with and the complexities of their everyday lives in these times. Teenage pregnancy and Divorce aswell as casual relationship and drugs, are issues our children see and or deal with on a daily basis among their own families and friends or see happening in their school and community.I personally think that it is important that shows like Glee continue to tackle and dare I say embrace these issues. Several episodes have opened the door for discussion in my home, a rare and welcome occurance. If what is happening in a T.V. show gives me the chance to openly discuss topics which even in todays modern Ireland can be quite taboo, I welcome every episode, every character and every story line!!! I wouldn’t consider the show anti christian. I'd say the script-writers had Quinn be head of the celibacy club because that would make her pregnancy more dramatic and harder to deal with. It also fits into her character's stereotype. As for Mr. Schuester leaving his wife, there's divorce in almost every show nowadays! Look at Bree in Desperate Housewives!
